Our Sunday morning adult groups are smaller communities of faith within the larger church family. Relationships are formed that last a lifetime. We spend time sharing one another's lives, praying for one another, carrying one another's burdens, and celebrating one another's joys.
The studies on Sunday mornings are coordinated so that all class groups are studying the same thing. Of course each class and each teacher has its/his own approach to the material, but we as a church family all go through the same topic of study together. Generally, our Sunday morning series are textual in nature -- that is, we go through the various books of the Bible. As we carefully dig into God's word, we discover His answers to the important questions of our lives.
Wednesday courses are elective series – a collection of classes from which adults can pick and choose the group that best meets their study interests or personal needs. New courses are offered every two or three months.
Generally speaking, Wednesday series tend to be topical and needs-based. Even then, the courses follow the truth in Scripture very closely and bring in discoveries from other disciplines as they are helpful.
Because adults choose classes as new ones start, Wednesdays provide wonderful opportunities to study with persons we do not always see on a regular basis. New relationships are formed, old ones are strengthened, and our faith walk grows through studies that enrich our lives.
